Minami, As your brother, proud as I am, I must tell you that I have very little experience with socialization of this sort. Or…of any sort, really. I am very ignorant as to the methods with which humanity functions and goes about their daily lives, particularly in the matter of relations. When I was small, I was cared for by various relatives that came and went. My one armhold on stability was, of course, Rei, though she was in no better a predicament than I. I understand this may impact my relationship with you, and I apologize for that. I hope you will forgive me for my faults and shortcomings.
She emits a small gasp and suddenly smiles brightly, opening her arms as she approaches, almost glomping faer in the process. Which obviously means ‘yes’. She hadn’t have one in a long while, after all.
“Ahaha!” A laugh emits faer lips as the small girl squeezes faer body to bits. Not to put it in a negative light! Indeed, it simply stretches the smile that rises so naturally even wider.
“Well, if that makes yourself happy how could I refuse?”
She really doesn’t think she’s that worthy, but she can’t argue against someone else’s happiness. Either way, she can’t deny she’s a little overjoyed about this. Fae looks like a good brother.
“Would it be excessive to request a hug?” Brotherly emotions are not foreign to faer, as fae experiences them whenever in the presence of faer own Rei, and yet it is particularly warm this time. Then again, perhaps it is simply perspective.
“Hmm… alright. If that makes you happy, I’ll do my best”
“It is settled. May I then have the honor of being your older brother figure from hereforth on? My main occupation, of course, being making you happy.” And, naturally, keeping her safe, but this is an unvoiced vow.
