“Oh, great! I’m already good with compliments! I shall keep the rest in mind. This is really helpful, thank you!”

image

“Of course. I mean, it worked for me.” Eyes glitter behind elongated lashes.

ikariminami:

image

“Oooh? What do they say? I need to be enlightened!”

image

“Compliments seem to be very effective, as well as locking eyes, presumably with an element of longing. And when kissing, delay yourself slightly for that extra magic.”

ikariminami:

image

“I have never been completely interested in finding a significant other, though… but it could still be an amusing thing to try, couldn’t it?”

image

“Certainly. I have never been in such a position myself, but according to these magazines aimed toward the adolescent female demographic…” Pages through.

ikariminami:

image

“What? Really? You think so? Sounds like fun!”

image

“Absolutely! It is the fool proof method to, ah, how do you say it… Courtship?”

ikariminami:

image

No way! No way! I know it’s not a secret! Hey hey you you! I want to be your girlfriend!

image

“Excellent job! You will have all your later romantic interests swooning.”

ikariminami:

image

“Oh hey, I know that one! NO WAY NO WAY, I THINK YOU NEED A NEW ONE!”

image

"HEY HEY YOU YOU I COULD BE YOUR GIRLFRIEND!” And so goes the guitar. “HEY HEY YOU YOU I KNOW THAT YOU LIKE ME–”

ikariminami:

image

“Oooh Kaworu-kun, that looks so interesting! Please enlighten me with this intriguing new music of sorts! I’d like to sing like that too!”

image

“You can follow along after me.” Clears throat.

“HEY HEY YOU YOU I DON’T LIKE YOUR GIRLFRIEND–”

ikariminami:

image

“Well, I certainly have heard about singing… but that’s a really odd singing. What does it even mean? Where did you hear that?”

image

“Ah! Well you see, there is this lovely thing called, ehm, a record shop! Or so they said… I did find some quite wonderful gems in there. My particular favorite is this one.” Holds up a case. “It is titled…Girl-friend. How brilliant it makes me feel!”

ikariminami:

“Huh… Kaworu-kun, what are you doing?”

image

image

“I am performing a cultural ritual known as ‘singing’. Isn’t it grand?”

She sighs quietly, yet nods. She doesn’t think she would find them anywhere. She’s not even sure of being in her own… dimension. She can’t really tell what’s happening, she just keeps feeling they’re not there.

Or rather, dad’s not there. Father was… gone after all, wasn’t he?

Either way, the best thing to do was to humor fae, at least for now.

“I only live with my dad, and my dad is a very busy person. Maybe he didn’t even notice I left” she continued, shrugging lightly, not in a sad, nor a compliant tone. She just says it as if it was nothing out of the ordinary “We live in a building that is identical to most of the buildings around here, so… I’m not sure if I can recall which one it was… but don’t you have any important thing to do? I wouldn’t like you to waste your time like this”

image

“Silly, you aren’t wasting a bit of it.” If one is to be entirely honest, the angel, as faer family had always oddly termed faer – as if fae had borne with wings of shimmering gold and champagne – rarely, if ever, attends schooling. Disregarding this, however, the girl’s words, gently spoken, are troubling. If Kaworu really were an angel, breathing soothing melodies into her little ears, fae would whisk her off to whatever dwelling she inhabited and tuck her off to slumber. This would surely bring ease to her paternal figure as well. Yet, fae remains a human being, mortal to the core, and cannot help her as such, but elects to arrange for some sort of rescue regardless.

“If we cannot find your father, we will go out for ice cream. How does that sound?”
